Taxonomic notes. Described originally as a species of Korynia View in CoL , it was almost neglected, but its validity was never questioned. It is assigned here to Strigamia View in CoL for the first time ( new combination), because it shares all major diagnostic features of Strigamia View in CoL (see above under “Notes on synonymies”).
Distribution: known from a single locality in the Coast Ranges, California.
