Material examined. • 3 spms, Stn. 3; • 1 spm, Stn. 14.
Type locality. South Orkney Islands.
Bathymetric distribution. 30–304 m.
Substrate. Soft bottom.
Geographical distribution. ANTARCTICA: Palmer Archipelago. SUBANTARCTICA: -. SCOTIA ARC: South Georgia, South Orkney Islands, South Shetland Islands. SOUTH AMERICA: -.
Remarks. While the spiral sculpture is much more pronounced in young specimens than in adults, the posteroventral decurvation is not developed in young individuals ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE 4 ). We found this species in depths between 70 and 100 m. The species is already known from the Maxwell and Admiralty Bays.
