AUKEMA et al. (2006, 2013) and ROCA-CUSACHS et al. (2020) reported
Beosus maritimus (Scopoli, 1763) View in CoL
( Heteroptera : Rhyparochromidae ) for the islands of El Hierro, La Palma, La Gomera, Tenerife and Gran Canaria. The presence of B. maritimus on the island of Fuerteventura can be added to this list: On 27-01-2019, four specimens were found in Geafond , located south of Corralejo in the northern part of the island. Photos of one specimen were uploaded to the online database iNaturalist (see here).
