Polinices ( Polinices) köeneni [ sic] Sacco— Stancu & Andreescu 1968: 462, pl. 3, fig. 33 [ non Tanea dillwyni koeneni ( Sacco, 1891) ].
Discussion. Stancu & Andreescu (1968) illustrated a small shell from the Badenian of Delineşti in the Caransebeş Basin ( Romania) as Polinices ( Polinices) köeneni [ sic] Sacco. The specimen seems to be a subadult Cochlis species but is unrelated with the much larger Pliocene Mediterranean Tanea dillwyni koeneni ( Sacco, 1891) as revised by Pedriali & Robba (2008a: pl. 1, figs 9–11).
