Discussion. Kovács et al. (2023) described a poorly preserved specimen from the early Ottnangian of Hungary as Cochlis sp. We agree on the generic placement but better preserved material will be necessary for an identification at species level.
Paleoecology. The assemblage from Parádfürdö ( Hungary) as described by Kovács et al. (2023) points to shallow marine environments.
