Certainly, a number of species placed in this genus introduced for asexual morphs of Ceratobasidium now belong in Rhizoctonia , but confirmation of the generic synonymy requires identification of the type of the name Ceratorhiza , Cr. goodyerae-repentis , here listed as a name of uncertain application.
