Type species: Daplasa irrorata Moore, 1879
Description. Antenna bipectinate. Labial palpus slender, porrect. Forewing venation with a small areole at upper angle of discal cell, R 1 arising from costa, R 2 branching from the areole, R 3, R 4 and R 5 stalked, R 5 branching from Rs more distally than R 2, M 1 branch from upper angle of discal cell, M 2 and M 3 arising from under angle respectively, CuA 1 almost parallel to CuA 2. Hindwing venation with Rs and M 1 arising from upper angle of discal cell. M 2 and M 3 arising from the under angle respectively. CuA 1 separate from M 3. Hind tibia with two pairs of spurs. Male abdomen with tymbals. Male genitalia with a bifid uncus and a well-developed gnathos. Female genitalia usually with marginally dentate plate in corpus bursae.
Distribution. China, India, Nepal, Malaysia (Borneo), Indonesia ( Sumatra).
