An adult was photographed at Puesto Enramadita, Parque Nacional Caazapá by RD on 28 March 2024 (26°05’60’’S 55°37’22’’W) ( Fig. 6 View Fig ) and is instantly recognizable because of its dorsal colouration and pattern ( Cacciali and Scott, 2012). This GoogleMaps is the first record of the species for Caazapá department. The GoogleMaps species has been previously reported from Amambay, Boquerón, Canindeyú, Central, Ñeembucú, Paraguarí, Presidente Hayes and San Pedro ( Cacciali et al., 2016b). It is considered to be “Least Concern” in Paraguay ( Martínez et al., 2020c).
