General distribution. Palearctic, Japan.
Distribution in Vojvodina. Fruška Gora ( Stevanović, 1967) ; Deliblatska Peščara ( Bogojević, 1971a, 1971b; 1973); Odžaci ( Bogojević, 1984).
Ecological note. Hemiedaphic. In Deliblatska Peščara , the species was found in Robinia pseudoacacia stand. In Odžaci, the species was found in a poplar plantation on yellow sand. Sampling was done in August; the soil surface temperature was 27.2 ºC, and, at - 5 cm, 24.2 ºC .
