Type species (by monotypy): Schreiteria pectinicornis Dyar, 1940 .

Description. Male genitalia were described by Penco et al. (2016). Female genitalia unknown.

Diagnosis. In the genital structure, the species is closer to the genus Psychonoctua , however, it differs in the harpe on the ventral side of the valve, the cornutus fused with the vesica, the sclerotized folded area in the aedeagus and the shorter filiform distal portion of the antenna (1/4 of antenna and less). The formation of the harpe on the ventral side of the valve in Schreiteriana , in the group Brypoctia Schoorl, 1990 – Morpheis Hübner, [1820] and in some other representatives of the Australian genus Sympycnodes Turner, 1932 , apparently, developed independently of each other and cannot indicate their close relationship.

Composition. The genus includes one species.
