Variation. Male. Head, mesosoma and petiole reddish brown to dark brown; marginal vein 1.0–1.45 times as long as distance from it to basal vein; radial cell as long as marginal vein (rarely) or longer, at most 1.57 times as long as marginal vein; petiole 1.9–2.5 times as long as wide.

Distribution. * Armenia, *Azerbaijan, Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, * Moldova, * Russia (European part), Slovakia, Sweden, * Ukraine, United Kingdom.
