Stem usually slightly pruinose; upper cauline leaves similar to lower, their lobes ovate, usually dentate; rays nearly always rough or shortly hispid on inner side; primary ridges of fruit with short setae. N. part of Balkan peninsula, extending to N.E. Italy; Carpathians.
