Perennial up to 50 cm. Leaves 2- to 4-pinnate, glabrous or sparsely pubescent; lobes up to 35 mm, linear or filiform. Rays (15-)2O-35(-5O), pubescent, with straight hairs shorter than the diameter of the ray. Bracts 0-8; bracteoles several, lanceolate. Fruit 5-6 mm, ovoid, densely pubescent all over. • N. W. part of Balkan peninsula, extending to N.E. Italy; S. Carpathians. Al It Ju Rm.
