Like 2 but stem creeping throughout its length and rooting at every node; leaf-segments 5-14 mm, 5-11, ovate to suborbicular; peduncle usually 2-3 times as long as rays; rays 3-6; bracts 3-7; fruit usually c. 1 mm, wider than long. 2« = 22. Wet places. Mainly in C. and E. Europe; distribution uncertain owing to confusion with 2. Au Be?Bu?Cr Cz Da Ga Ge?Gr He Ho Hs Hu It?Ju Lu Po?Tu.
