Like 15 but sometimes subglabrous; leaflets 2-5 pairs, 15-40 x 8-30 mm, elliptical or ovate; calyx distinctly shorter than corolla; corolla 18-25 mm, yellow; standard exceeding keel; segments spinulose. S.E. Europe, from Bulgaria to c. 55°N. in E. Russia. Bu Rm Rs (W, E).
