Subgen. Polygala View in CoL . Flowers in terminal or pseudolateral racemes. Wings persistent, often petaloid; keel with a prominent, fimbriate crest; filaments united for at least half their length; anthers opening by a large, subapical pore. Seeds with much endosperm.
