Dwarf shrub 15-40 cm, villous and with numerous, short glandular hairs. Leaves pinnate; leaflets 5-7, 10-30 mm, ovate or elliptical, caducous, but the petioles long-persistent. Flowers subsessile, borne singly at each node, in dense, terminal racemes, which elongate after anthesis. Corolla 10-14 mm, pinkish-purple. Legume 6-8 mm. Seeds 4-6, 1-5-2 mm, brown, smooth. S.W. Spain (near Cadiz). Hs.
