Buds, leaves beneath and inflorescence-axis more or less hairy. Petiole usually more than 2-5 cm. Leaflets firm, subobtuse or abruptly narrowed to an acute apex. Sepals deltate, hairy. Fruit subglobose. Throughout most of the range of the species but rarer in the south.
