Material examined: 1♂, South Goa : Colem; 23.xi.1987., Coll. K. S. Pradhan.

Distribution: India: Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Assam and West Bengal.

Elsewhere: the Caroline Islands and Samoa. The species is however widespread in the Oriental and Austro-Oriental regions.

Remarks: This species is first time reported from Goa
