Distribution: India: Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Kerala, Lakshadweep Island, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal.
Elsewhere: Africa, Madagascar, South and West Asia and Sri Lanka.
Remarks: This species is first time reported from Goa.
