Distribution. The species was described from Egypt and is distributed in Syria, Yemen and in Africa South of Sahara in Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, Kenya, Zambia, Angola, Zimbabwe, and South Africa ( Eastern Cape: first record, Western Cape).
