Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 6 View FIGURES 3‒8 ). Wingspan 10.0– 11.5 mm. Ressia quercidentella is diagnosed by the furcate process of the eighth tergum slightly broadened distally, the left dorso- and ventroapical processes of the asymmetrical pleural lobes of the eighth segment larger and longer than the right apical processes; the cucullus boot-shaped in the male genitalia ( Fig. 12 View FIGURES 9‒14 ); and the large ring-shaped sterigma with a small sclerotized ring-shaped process at left side in the female genitalia ( Fig. 17 View FIGURES 15‒19 ).
