Taxonomic history. Valid generic name.

Sex association. The male of the type species was associated and identified (as Timulla ( Trogaspidia) disparilis Mickel, 1933: 398 ) by Petersen in Lelej, 1996b: 22.

Distribution. Oriental, Palaearctic.
