Figs 45–47
Type material: Holotype: ♀ China : Hainan: Ledong Co., Jianfengling Mountains , 20 March 1990, M.B. Gu (IZCAS-Ar9448, epigynum missing, examined) . Paratypes: 2 ♂, same data as holotype (IZCAS-Ar9449, 9450, examined) .
Description. Opisthosomal dorsum with black stripes. Male palp with VTA, ITA and RTA; RTA with black denticles; tegulum with a small triangular apophysis and an ear-shaped apophysis.
Diagnosis. This species can easily be distinguished from S. liae Tang et al., 2006 by the differences in general appearance and epigynal organs.
Distribution. China ( Hainan).
Remarks. Song (1994) noted that this species was similar to but different from Xysticus , and it was placed in Xysticus provisionally. This species is transferred to Sionthomisus because it shares the general appearance and genital characteristics with this genus ( Tang et al. 2006: 62–63).
