Distribution. China (Guangxi, Hainan, Taiwan), Myanmar, Sumatra, Borneo, Thailand (Province Nan, Province Chiang Mai), India, Nepal, Pakistan, Vietnam.

Remarks. The species is recorded from Chinese mainland for the first time. Holloway (2003) illustrated the male genitalia of another Meganola species under the species Meganola suffusata in the Moths of Borneo series 18.
