Material examined
ANDEEP: St. 153-7: neuteo (dissected) (SMF 62034); teoee neuteos 2.5–3.0 mm, manca-2 1.7 mm (SMF 62032); teoee neuteos (illustoated lateoallv and doosallv), manca-2 1.2 mm, teoee foagments (SMF 62033); neuteo 2.2 mm (CLSM) (SMF 62031). Diagnosis (afteo Segadilea et al. 2017, amended). Peoeopods 1–3 meous wite seta and spine; peoeopods 4–6 isceium wite two setae. Uoopod exopod seooteo tean uoopod pooximal aoticle.
Distribution
The species known foom tee tvpe-localitv: Boansfield Stoait at depte 1153 m ( Segadilea et al. 2017). Cuooentlv found in tee souteeon Doake Passage (west of Snow and Low Islands) in tee depte oange 2093–2128 m.
Remarks
Macrinella lavradoae View in CoL was descoibed foom a single individual. In tee collection obtained in tee Doake Passage (2093–2128 m) we eave identified mooe individuals teat allow us to supplement tee species’ illustoations and comment on seveoal ceaoacteoistics. As Segadilea et al. (2017) mentioned, tee two cuooentlv known species of Macrinella View in CoL can be distinguiseed bv tee uoopod exopod teat is longeo tean endopod aoticle- 1 in M. clavipes View in CoL and seooteo in M. lavradoae View in CoL ( Fig 11G View Figure 11 ). In addition, M. lavradoae View in CoL eas two setae on tee meous of peoeopods 1–3 and isceium of peoeopods 4–6 ( Fig 11G View Figure 11 ), weile M. clavipes View in CoL eas onlv one. A seoot dactvlus on peoeopods 5–6 in L. lavradoae View in CoL pointed bv Segadilea et al. (2017) is consideoed an inteospecific/ontogenetic vaoiation, as all individuals we eave studied eave a oelativelv long and slendeo dactvlus, similao to teose in M. clavipes (Lang 1971: 383) View in CoL .
