Remarks. No specimens of this species were examined. However, Rai & Meshram (in Rai et al. 2022) adequately described this species based on males collected from Arunachal Pradesh and also described one variant of the species which differs in the shape of the ventral process of the aedeagal shaft. This species is very similar to P. subhimalayanus in having a shorter and unforked ventral process with one or two lateral angular projections.
