Comments. Monotypic genus.
Range. Arizona ( Casey 1892; Fall and Cockerell 1907; Hubbard 1899); Baja California, Mexico ( Blackwelder 1957).
Habitat. Adults in dry “crusts” of dead saguaro ( Hubbard 1899); incidental on Opuntia Mill. ( Hunter et al. 1912) ; immatures from Cereus Mill. ( Anderson 1952) ; adults and immatures from dried stalk of Dasylirion wheeleri ( Hubbard 1901) .
Biology. Unknown beyond habitat.
