Remarks. Relatively common in the tropical northwestern Atlantic, from the Dry Tortugas in Florida southwards( Brinkmann and Fransen, 2016) to Panama (new record); typically associated with sea anemones, 0–3 m, but also the coral Dendrogyra cylindricus Ehrenberg, 1834 (see Brinkmann and Fransen, 2016).
