Remarks. Relatively common western Atlantic species recorded from western Florida and the southern Gulf of Mexico (Alacranes Reef) southwards to Ceará, Brazil, including Caribbean Sea ( Belize, Jamaica, Panama) ( Anker et al., 2012; 2016); pair-living spongeassociated species, 1– 3 m.
