Distribution: Indo-West Pacific; French Polynesia ( Serène 1984).

Remarks: The morphology of the present specimens ( Fig. 8A–C View Fig ) aligns with the diagnosis of L. harmsi ( Balss, 1934) as described by Serène (1984: 263, fig. 175, pl. XXV B). Hsueh et al. (2009) documented the first record of this species in Taiwan from a specimen collected in Wanlitong, southern Taiwan. The current findings suggest that this species also inhabits offshore island of southwestern Taiwan and the eastern coast of Taiwan.
