Geographic & bathymetric distribution. USA (Florida), Puerto Rico, Venezuela and Guiana; 33–622 m ( Pérez Farfante 1980b).
Remarks. Previous records for Venezuela: off NE Los Testigos Archipelago (USNM 173669) ( Pérez Farfante 1980b).
