Geographic & bathymetric distribution. Atlantic Ocean : North Atlantic , from the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, South Atlantic as far as 38°S, near South Africa; 20 – 2000 m depth ( Vereshchaka 2000).
Remarks. Records for Venezuela: La Orchila Island ( Judkins 2014).
