Geographic & bathymetric distribution. Western Atlantic: USA, Bermuda, Bahamas, Brazil (Bahia, Espírito Santo); Eastern Atlantic; Indian and Pacific; 10-2000 m depth ( Cardoso & Young 2005; Felder et al. 2009)
Remarks. Previous records for Venezuela: off N La Tortuga Island ( Judkins 2014).
