Nomenclature: Aegyptobia ueckermanni Khosrowshahi & Arbabi — Khanjani et al. (2012b) , Pentamerismus tragardhi — Baker and Pritchard (1953b), Aegyptobia (Aegyptobia) tragardhi — Mitrofanov et al. (1975).

Redescription from Iran: Khanjani et al. 2012b, 43; Hamedan, Hamedan Province ex. leaves of apple trees, Malus domestica (Suckow) Borkh. ( Rosaceae ), pine trees, Picea polita (Syn. Pinus abies ) ( Pinaceae ), juniper trees, Juniperus communis ( Cupressaceae ), walnut trees, Juglans regia L. ( Juglandaceae ) and plum tree Prunus domestica L. ( Rosaceae ) — Khanjani et al. 2012b.
