Distribution in Brazil. Amazonas (Ferreira-Ribeiro & Froehlich 2001), Amapá ( Ribeiro & Gorayeb 2014), Maranhão, Mato Grosso ( Ribeiro & Rafael 2009), and Pará ( Ribeiro & Rafael 2009; Ribeiro & Gorayeb 2014; this work), Roraima ( Menezes et al. 2020) and Tocantins ( Rippel et al. 2019).

Distribution in Pará. Altamira, Capanema, Castanhal, Nova Timboteua ( Ribeiro & Gorayeb 2014), Oriximiná (this work), Parauapebas “Serra Norte” ( Ribeiro & Rafael 2009), Peixe-Boi, Primavera ( Ribeiro & Gorayeb 2014), Santarém, Terra Santa (this work).

Comments. This is the most abundant species in the Brazilian Amazon. Unlike the morphotype cited in Menezes et al. (2020), the specimens collected in the streams of Oriximiná, Santarém, and Terra Santa ( Pará) follow the body size of the specimens collected by Ribeiro & Rafael (2009). The genitalia of the male and female are in accordance with the original description ( Ribeiro-Ferreira & Froehlich 2001) and redescription of the species ( Ribeiro & Rafael 2009). New record for the western region of Pará and first records for the municipalities of Oriximiná, Santarém, and Terra Santa.
