Distribution. Korea (Gyeonggi-do, Jeollanam-do, Gyeongsangnam-do), Japan (Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu, Nansei Islands) ( Imura & Ishikawa 2012).
Comments. In East Asia, there are two species in this genus: P. japonicus Lis, 1994 from various localities in Japan and P. semialbidus ( Walker, 1867) from mainland China, Taiwan, and Japan (Ishigaki, Iriomote Islands) ( Lis 1999; Imura & Ishikawa 2012). The Korean specimen is a good match with the original description of P. japonicus by Lis (1994).
