Distribution. Korea (Jeju Island), Japan (Kyushu, Nansei Islands) ( Ishikawa et al. 2006).
Comments. The presence of this species in South Korea was first recognized by Dávid Rédei (National Chung Hsing University, Taiwan) in 2016, on his visit to NIBR, Incheon, although the record was not officially published. Afterwards, an additional specimen was photographed from Jeju Island by amateur naturalist Sechae Kim .
