Distribution. Japan (Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu) ( Yamamoto & Hayashi 2012).
Discussion. Doi (1933) recorded Lindbergicoris gramineus ( Distant, 1883) from Korea (as Elasmucha graminea Distant ), but later he corrected it to Elasmucha ferrugata ( Fabricius, 1787) ( Doi 1935) . Yamada (1936) made the Korean species list based on the documents published until 1934, which includes E. graminea . Lee (1971) listed E. graminea in the Korean fauna based on Yamada (1936), and subsequent authors has repeated L. gramineus in the Korean checklist ever since without any additional record or confirmation. Therefore, L. gramineus should be removed from the list of Korean fauna.
