Subgen. Cathissa (Salisb.) Baker . Bulb with free scales, the outer tunicate. Leaves without a whitestripe, flatto canaliculate. Inflorescence narrowlyspiciform. Pedicels erectin fruit, shorter than capsule. Perianth more or less campanulate. Filaments entire. Ovary and capsule with 3 obtuse angles.
