Remarks. Rhinotragus lucasii was described based on a single specimen from French Guiana. Currently, it is known from Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia, French Guiana, and Brazil (Amazonas, Rondônia, and Mato Grosso) ( Monné 2024a; Tavakilian & Chevillotte 2024).
