Diagnosis. Similar to D. ovartiella Park & Karisch, 2022 ( Ivory Coast), but it differs by a large, triangular costal patch and the nearly straight postmedian fascia, whereas in D. ovartiella , the costal patch is weakly developed and the postmedian fascia is strongly angled before the hind margin. The female genitalia can easily be distinguished by the abdominal sternite VIII (narrowly and deeply emarginated, shortly extended distally) and ovate antrum ( Fig. 8D View FIGURE 8 ), whereas in D. ovartiella , the antrum larger, about half width of sternite and the postvaginal plate narrowly extended, exceeding the caudal margin of sternite.

Description. Male ( Figs 8A, B View FIGURE 8 ) and female. Wingspan 11.0– 12.5 mm.

Head: Shiny yellowish white anteriorly, brownish dorsally. Antenna about 4/5 the length of forewing; basal segment dark brown, slightly dilated distally; flagellum yellowish white (in male, tinged with grey). Labial palpus arched upwards; second palpomere thickened, shiny yellowish white on both sides; greyish brown dorsally; third palpomere about 4/5 the length of the second, shiny greyish tinged with yellowish white scales.

Thorax: Dark brown dorsally as tegula; collar yellowish white. Hind tibia shiny yellowish white, with long piliform scales medially. Forewing ground colour dark brown; costa gently convex; apex rather sharply produced; basal patch yellowish white; antemedian fascia yellowish white, broadened at costa, slightly convex medially; postmedian fascia yellowish white, slightly zigzagged, arising from yellowish-white triangular costal patch at 4/5; termen slightly sinuous; fringes greyish brown, with a yellowish white basal line. Hindwing greyish brown; postmedian fascia fine, weakly presented.

Abdomen: Dark brown dorsally; yellowish white ventrally; spinous zones on tergites sparsely spined.

Male genitalia ( Figs 8C, C View FIGURE 8 1 View FIGURE 1 ): Uncus slender, exceeding apex of basal plate of gnathos, strongly bent beyond, sharply pointed apically. Basal plate of gnathos semiovate, strongly convex caudally; median process strongly bent beyond middle, with sharply pointed apex. Tegumen weakly sclerotized, roundly concave on anterior margin. Valva with slight expansion basally on costa, oblique towards cucullus; ventral margin nearly straight; cucullus triangular, with sharply pointed dorso-apical spine, densely setose. Juxta trapezoidal; median process long, nearly straight, longer than twice of the juxta. Aedeagus rather short, about 2/3 the length of valva, slightly bent before middle; cornuti consisting of minute particles.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 8D View FIGURE 8 ): Abdominal sternite VIII narrowly and deeply emarginated; postvaginal plate small, not exceeding the caudal margin of sternite VIII. Antrum ovate, the length about same width. Ductus bursae long, about 2.5 times the length of corpus bursae. Corpus bursae ovate; signum transversally elongated, elliptical, about half the width of corpus bursae, with broad median groove, upper and lower plates nearly symmetrical, with dense short conical spines along margins.

Distribution. Liberia ( Nimba Mts.).

Etymology. The specific name is derived from a Korean archaic word, - sero, meaning the new or the new thing. An adjective in the nominative singular.
