Tohlezkus rufus (M. Sakai, 1980) : 85 (as Subulistomella rufa ).

Remarks. Adults of this species show a characteristically reddish hue, with the head and pronotum slightly lighter than elytra ( Fig. 4 View FIGURES 1‒4 ). Tohlezkus rufus was originally described based on specimens collected on Shikoku ( Ehime and Tokushima Prefectures), later recorded from Honshȗ ( Aichi Prefecture) and Kyȗshȗ ( Fukuoka, Miyazaki and Saga Prefectures) ( Hirano 2000; Imasaka et al. 2016, 2018; Ôyama 2021; Nishida 2022), and here we provide the first record from Nara Prefecture (Honshȗ).
