Counties: Carlton, Cass, Hubbard, Pine.
Comments: This species is similar to, and easily confused with S. ranunculi . It appears to be a principally western and northern species. In eastern North America, it has also been found in Michigan, Maine, and Ontario ( M. Arduser, unpublished). Minnesota specimens fall under the subspecies S. pecosensis pecosensis .
