Distribution by States in the Northeast Region of Brazil. Rio Grande do Norte; Paraíba; Pernambuco; Bahia, Alagoas; Sergipe.

Species from the Northeast Region of Brazil. Stethorus brasilensis Gordon & Chapin, 1983 ; Stethorus fractus Gordon & Chapin, 1983 ; Stethorus grossepunctatus Gordon & Chapin, 1983 ; Stethorus murilloi Gordon, 1982 ; Stethorus tridens Gordon, 1982 .

Comments. At least ten species of this genus occur in South America, and all five species that occur in Brazil also occur in NE Brazil ( Gordon & Chapin 1983).
