Comments. Delphastus is distributed throughout the New World and has 27 species: eighteen occur in South America, five in Brazil, and three in the northeast of the latter ( Gordon 1994 a). Delphastus davidsoni is a new record for NE Brazil.
As seen above, there are seven new records of Coccinellidae genera for NE Brazil: Pseudoryssomus ( Chnoodini ); Rhyzobius ( Coccidulini ); Harmonia ( Coccinellini ); Paraneda ( Coccinellini ); Adira ( Epilachnini ); Novius ( Noviini ); and Pharoscymnus ( Sticholotidini ). Four of these new records are of exotic species: Harmonia axyridis ( Pallas, 1773) ; Novius cardinalis ( Mulsant, 1850) ; Pharoscymnus flexibilis ( Mulsant, 1853) ; and Rhyzobius lophantae ( Blaisdell, 1892) . Two of them are new records for Brazil: Pseudoryssomus and Rhyzobius . Two new records of tribes are also made for NE Brazil: Noviini and Sticholotidini .
Table 1 summarizes all species belonging to the aforementioned tribes and genera, highlighting new records and distribution by State of NE Brazil.
