TL: Sri Lanka [ Ceylon], Colombo, Kandy, Maskeliya, Madulsima; India, Assam, Khasi Hills (presently, in Meghalaya).
TD: Lectotype ♂, NHMUK ( Kasy 1973).
Distribution: In India: Meghalaya, Karnataka (Coorg); Elsewhere: Sri Lanka: Colombo, Kandy, Maskeliya, Madulsima; China: Sichuan [Szetschwan], Kwanhsien, Hong Kong, Taiwan; Japan: Hokkaido, Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu and Ryukyu Islands; Malaysia; Indonesia; Vietnam; Thailand; Brunei; North Korea; South Korea (Meyrick 1913; Kasy 1973; Sinev & Park 1994; Kendrick 2004, 2010; Koçak & Kemal 2012; Terada 2014; Park et al. 2018).
