This group includes five species, E. ( En.) delumbis Melander , E. ( En.) floricola sp. nov., E. ( En.) sphaera sp. nov., E. ( En.) spiculata sp. nov. and E. ( En.) tripenicillata sp. nov., which are distinguished by the phallus with paired lobes and usually with subapical spiny swelling ( e.g., Figs 151 View FIGURES 148–151 , 171, 173 View FIGURES 170–173 ), hypandrium with long setae, subepandrial process present ( e.g., Figs 170, 172 View FIGURES 170–173 ) and male hind femur usually with row of thickened posterior preapical setae ( e.g., Figs 147 View FIGURES 143–147 , 156 View FIGURES 154–159 ). In addition, males of E. ( En.) sphaera sp. nov. produce balloons.
