Distribution. China ( Yunnan, Zhejiang, Shanxi, Shanghai, Beijing), India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia ( Sabah, Java, Lombok), Indonesia ( Sulawesi, Timor, Lombok, Java), Philippines (Luzon, Mindoro), Australia, New Guinea, New Caledonia.
Remarks. The specimens of S. dissimilis Sharp, 1874 ( Sharp, 1874a: 87) collected from Zhejiang and Shanxi listed in Puhtz, 2013 are now confirmed as S. rorellus cursorius . Thus these two provinces have to be excluded from the distribution of S. dissimilis .
