Remarks. Valid species described from Czech Republic ( Kurz 1874). Similar forms are very distributed worldwide and apparently are composed of a large group of species. Adamowicz et al. (2009) represented 12(!) obtusa -like species in their tree, but several species were missed ( Kotov & Taylor 2010).

Distribution. Almost cosmopolitan, recently introduced even in Australia ( Benzie 2005).

Remarks. Described from the Pamir (Rylow 1930). Junior synonym of D. fusca Gurney, 1907 ( Benzie 2005) .

Remarks. Species inquirenda. It was described from Australia ( Hebert 1977) with unsufficient level of morphological description. Then Colbourne et al. (2006) put this among the carinata -like taxa, but these genetical data were not coordinated with taxonomy. Benzie (2005) placed this taxon among junior synonyms of D. carinata King, 1853 . Even in case of future acceptance of D. projecta as a valid species, its presence in India needs special confirmation.
